ABOUT TWO ALDERS
Two trees. Shared ground. Better growth.
Two Alders was built around a simple idea: mission-driven organizations deserve internal systems that are as thoughtful as the work they put into their communities.
WHY TWO ALDERS
Rooted in the Pacific Northwest. Built for organizations doing good work.
An alder is familiar here: unpretentious, resilient, and part of the landscape. Two Alders represents the relationship between people and structure—distinct parts growing from shared ground.
The company grew from firsthand experience inside nonprofit operations: seeing talented people spend too much time searching for files, rebuilding old documents, explaining the same process repeatedly, or carrying critical knowledge that had never been written down.
We exist to make that invisible work clearer.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Infrastructure is part of impact.
Strong programs depend on strong internal systems.
When people can find what they need, understand their role, follow a reliable process, and hand knowledge to the next person, organizations become more resilient—and leaders get more time back for the mission itself.
Plain language
Important information should be understandable without translating consultant-speak.
Respect for capacity
We design around the team you actually have, not the imaginary team a system assumes you have.
Responsible boundaries
We know where documentation support ends and where legal, HR, accounting, or other licensed expertise should begin.
Lasting ownership
Our goal is not to make you dependent on us. It is to leave you with something you can understand and maintain.
START HERE
Let’s strengthen what sits behind the mission.
Whether you have one messy document or an entire operational system that needs attention, we can start where you are.
